Full Time Score Northallerton Town 1-1 Thornaby FC (North Riding Senior Cup Quarter final)  (Thornaby won 4-2 on penalties)  Thornaby travelled to play Northern League Division 2 rivals Northallerton Town in the North Riding Senior Cup, after visiting them 2 weeks ago and came away 2-1 winners in the League.  Thornaby made 3 changes with Stephen Morrison, Dominic Tiffany and Lewis Murphy coming into the team for Tonight's match.  The first 20 minutes were scrappy with both sides trying their best to keep the Ball but it was Northallerton who took the lead with 21 minutes gone when Richard Walker played in NICKY MARTIN down the right hand side of the penalty area and he beat the offside trap and fired the Ball past Simpson in the Thornaby goal. Allerton then had the next chance when Stephen Jackson seen his left footed effort hit straight at Simpson. The Teessiders had their first chance of the match when Joe Scaife Wheatley's clever ball over the top found Kurtis Howes whose left footed effort hit the side netting and the visitors also had the next chance when Jordan Wilson ran 20 yards and his left footed effort from 25 yards went straight into the hands of Tom Dawson.  Half Time Northallerton Town 1-0 Thornaby FC  Allerton had the first chance of the second half when Nicky Martin's cross found Colin Anderson who headed over the bar and the same 2 player had the following chance when Nicky Martin squared the ball to Colin Anderson who tapped over the bar from 8 yards out. The visitors then had a spell as they looked to Level the match when firstly Joe Scaife-Wheatley flicked the ball over a Northallerton Town player and his half volley went straight into the hands off Dawson. Thornaby thought they had levelled the match after a clever back heel from Kallum Hannah found Kurtis Howes whose pass across the goal and tapped into the net by Joe Scaife Wheatley but the offside flag denied Thornaby the leveller. Thornaby continued to dig deep and did level the match when Joe Hillerby's ball across the goal found MICHAEL JAMES who tapped into the empty net with 89 minutes gone. Referee George Roberts blew the full time whistle moments later to send the match to penalties.  Thornaby converted all 4 penalties which were converted by Kallum Hannah, Joe Hillerby, Aaron Foley and the winning penalty from Kurtis Howes while Oliver Simpson also made 2 saves at the start of the shootout to send us through to the Semi finals of the North Riding Senior Cup.  Man of the match:     Kallum Hannah
